Wipers are too sensitive

Alright, I've had enough, the rain sensing wipers on my telly are WAY too sensitive. A few sprinkles and they're wiping like there's a monsoon. It's not just annoying, it's distracting. I've messed with the settings, and nothing seems to fix it. Is this just how they are or did I get a hypersensitive batch? Anyone figure out a real solution, or do I need to start digging into a manual override or sum'n

Sounds annoying! I haven't experienced this yet but maybe you can double-check if there are any firmware updates available for your car. sometimes those can address sensor glitches. Also, give the windshield area around the sensor a really good clean just in case there's some film or debris messing with it.

The rain sensors can be a pain sometimes but they're there for a reason, and that includes safety. So I see that you already toggled a few things on the settings. And that didn't work. So this is your sign to bring it to the dealer for a quick recalibration. Nothing big and nothing too expensive.

Yeah,it might just be how they are. a manual override could be worth looking into but not a guarantee! hope you find a fix!
