Battery drain issue

I checked the battery drain on my 2021 Telluride SX-Prestige (around 2500miles) after noticing my Uniden R3 radar detector was intermittently shutting off due to low voltage. Using an Ancel BST100, i tracked the charge over several days and saw a steady decline, even with minimal driving and occasional use of a 1.5 A battery tender . The high drain is likely from electronics staying active, like over-the-air updates. I havent tested the alternator yet , so this is strictly a parasitic draw observation, but it suggests the battery is losing charge faster than expected even in a garage-kept vehicle.

arasitic draw from updates and standby systems can definitely eat a battery over time, especially with minimal driving. Go ahead to test the alternator out
