Stuck in tow mode

My 2022 Telluride SX-P is stuck in tow mode! So I just got back from a camping trip, pulled my small teardrop trailer, which was around 1800 lbs, for a few hours. When I got home and unhitched, I pressed the tow mode button to disengage it, but the tow indicator on the dash is still lit up. The transmission feels sluggish, like it's holding gears way too long. The steering feels heavier than normal, almost like I'm still hooked up. I've tried turning my truck off and on multiple times, even letting it sit for a while, but no luck. Anyone else experienced their Telluride getting stuck in tow mode, or have any suggestions before I call the dealer? It's really annoying for daily driving!

Try disconnecting the battery for like 10-15 minutes to reset things, then try the button again.

That's definitely not normal and I agree with @top1 but if that doesn't fix it, you're probably looking at a trip to the dealer for a scan or software update
