Thoughts on all Telluride trims using the exact same engine?

I've been doing my homework on the Telluride and noticed that, from the base LX right up through the top‑tier SX, everyone gets the identical 3.8L V6 with 291 horsepower. On one hand it's nice knowing you're not missing out on raw power if you skip a higher trim, but on the other it makes me wonder how much the extra cash actually changes your day to day driving experience.
Has anyone driven both ends of the lineup and can share what really feels different once you step up in trim. Does the Sport tuned suspension on the SX suddenly make the engine feel livelier, or is it mostly aesthetic and comfort upgrades? And for those of you towing or tackling steep grades, does the straight off the assembly line V6 ever feel underpowered in the heavier models?

The engine is the same across all trims as far as I know so it's not really that "powerful" if you're gonna opt with the SX. But, if you prioritize ride quality and tech, definitely go for it.

Yep, same engine across all trims, so the LX and SX feel pretty similar performance wise, where the higher trims really shine is in comfort, tech, and interior upgrades, the lower trims still offer a good enough driving experience except you want luxury and a few other things
